dailyloe.com – Turkish Airlines is launching new direct flights to Romania from its Istanbul hub this summer. The carrier will connect Istanbul Airport to both Iași and Sibiu. This expansion strengthens its network in Eastern Europe significantly.

The new routes will commence operations starting June 15th. Flights to Iași will operate four times weekly. Services to Sibiu will be offered three times per week.

This move increases Turkish Airlines’ presence in Romania to five destinations. It already serves Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, and Timișoara. The airline utilizes Airbus A321neo aircraft for these new routes.

Passengers from Romania gain improved access to Turkish Airlines’ vast global network. The carrier flies to over 340 destinations across 130 countries. Istanbul Airport serves as a major transit hub for international travel.

The announcement aligns with growing travel demand in the region. It also supports tourism and business connectivity. Romanian travelers can now reach more global destinations via a single connection.[]
