Stylist Jason Bolden created Hayek’s look for the event. The Gucci gown featured a ruffled plunging V-neckline. It was made from a semi-sheer material covered in sequins. A long train pooled behind her on the red carpet.
Hairstylist Andy Lecompte styled Hayek’s long dark hair. He created an elegant twisted updo with a swooping side part. The hairstyle highlighted dramatic silver and crystal drop earrings. Hayek also wore a large ring by David Webb on her middle finger.
Hayek has consistently embraced her natural gray hair recently. She wore it with a center part a few months prior. Last July, she chose a millennial side part style. She makes a point of proudly showcasing her gray streaks.
“I look better with healthy hair that’s white,” Hayek told Allure last April. She added that her hair “doesn’t like to be dyed.” The actress posed on the red carpet with her husband. François Henri-Pinault wore a classic black tuxedo for the ceremony.
The couple married in the year 2009. They share a daughter named Valentina, born in 2007. Pinault has three other children from previous relationships. Hayek considers all four children her own.
“I always wanted to have a lot of children,” Hayek told Red in 2017. She said her body, “as a miracle, had one.” Hayek called her husband’s children a “huge blessing.” She noted that all four children are very different from each other.
