dailyloe.com – Regal Cinemas has announced its 2026 Summer Movie Express series, offering affordable family entertainment. The series will begin on June 1 and run through August 13, featuring two kid-friendly films each week.
Films will be screened for just $1 per ticket from Monday to Thursday. Showtimes start at 11 a.m. at Regal Cinemas locations including Colonie Center, Crossgates Mall, East Greenbush, and Clifton Park.
Attendees will also receive $3 off a Snack Pack, which includes a junior-sized drink, popcorn, fruit gummies, and/or a cup of Dippin’ Dots ice cream. The Summer Movie Express series has been a tradition since 1991, supporting Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation.
The movie schedule for the series is as follows: June 1-4 features “Sing” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.”
The subsequent weeks include June 8-11 with “Kung Fu Panda 4” and “David,” June 15-18 with “KPop Demon Hunters Sing-Along” and “The Wild Robot,” and June 22-25 with “The Bad Guys 2” and “The Garfield Movie.”
From June 29 to July 2, films will include “A Minecraft Movie” and “Sonic the Hedgehog 2.” July 6-9 features “How to Train Your Dragon” (2025) and “Sonic the Hedgehog 3.”
Additionally, July 13-16 will showcase a title to be announced (TBA) and “Scoob!” while July 20-23 includes “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants” and “Animal Farm.”
On July 27-30, the lineup consists of “Paddington in Peru” and “Dog Man.” The last two weeks of the series feature “Charlie the Wonderdog” and “Despicable Me 4” from August 3-6, followed by “The Sandlot” and “Muppets: Treasure Island” from August 10-13.
