Travis captioned the Instagram video, stating, ‘It’s the fans who make these appearances and shows so special.’ He added that they are ‘the reason I keep doing it.’ The singer also announced upcoming tour stops in Kentucky, Indiana, and Missouri.
The ‘More Life’ tour features Travis’s original touring band and Louisiana country singer James Dupré. Dupré performs many of Travis’s most iconic hits during the shows. The tour represents a significant return to major touring for the artist.
In July 2013, Travis suffered a stroke after hospitalization for presumptive cardiomyopathy. He was also treated for congestive heart failure at that time. His wife, Mary Travis, later discussed his health journey with PEOPLE magazine.
