dailyloe.com – The View cohosts did not address the firing of Attorney General Pam Bondi live on Thursday’s broadcast. This was due to the show’s pre-taped schedule ahead of a holiday hiatus. The panelists are known for their outspoken political commentary.

Moderator Whoopi Goldberg explained the upcoming Weekend View episode was filmed on Wednesday. This was before President Trump announced Bondi’s removal from her position. Guest panelist Whitney Cummings appeared in that pre-recorded segment.

A source confirmed the filming schedule to Entertainment Weekly. Friday’s episode was also a repeat of a previous show. This means the hosts could not react to the breaking news.

The cohosts will address the developments when the show returns on Monday, April 13. The panel did mention Bondi’s name earlier on Thursday. Interview guest Don Lemon made a joke about her during his segment.

Lemon joked the Department of Justice still had his cell phone. He said if anyone texted him, ‘Pam Bondi’s reading it.’ This occurred hours before the official firing announcement.

President Trump called Bondi a ‘Great American Patriot’ in a statement. He thanked her for her loyal service over the past year. The show’s representatives have been contacted for further comment.[]
