dailyloe.com – Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is reintroducing its Chicken Wraps as a permanent menu item. This decision comes despite mixed customer reactions. The wraps will be available nationwide starting May 4, priced at $3.99.
The Chicken Wraps are offered in three signature flavors: Classic, Spicy, and a new Blackened Ranch option. Each wrap includes lettuce, cheese, and a pickle wrapped in a tortilla. Peter Perdue, president of Popeyes U.S. and Canada, stated, “We know our guests are looking for convenience without sacrificing great taste and value.”
Fans expressed excitement on social media about the wraps returning permanently. One Instagram user wrote, “I. Have. Been. Waiting,” while another commented, “It’s good, but not great.” Some users, however, shared criticisms, recalling past complaints from when the wraps were first launched.
Previously, Popeyes offered the chicken wraps for a limited time in 2025. The decision to make them a permanent menu item follows a so-called “wrap” battle with McDonald’s. McDonald’s snack wraps have been a permanent offering since July 2025 and are priced at $2.99.
Customers voiced their mixed feelings about the Popeyes wraps. Comments such as, “They’re all 2 bites of food, useless,” highlighted some dissatisfaction. Another user noted, “the proportions are off.” Despite the critiques, the wraps have garnered a loyal fanbase.
