Tilly plays the role of Mrs. Zero, who delivers an extensive monologue from a Murphy bed at the start of the two-hour and 15-minute show. The narrative centers around Mr. Zero, portrayed by Daphne Rubin-Vega, who faces an existential crisis after being replaced by automation following 25 years of work.
The cast also includes Sarita Choudhury as Daisy and Michael Cyril Creighton, who takes on multiple roles. Set designer Derek McLane has created various environments using modular filing cabinets, while Thomas Bradshaw has revised Rice’s original script from 100 years ago.
