This reconciliation comes as Jack Quaid prepares to start a family. Insiders indicated that Jack ‘never gave up on the idea’ of his parents reconciling. It appears his efforts to foster understanding between them have been fruitful.
Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan first met while filming the 1987 movie Innerspace and married in 1991. They welcomed their son Jack later that year. However, their marriage ended in 2000 amid allegations of infidelity from both parties.
In a prior interview, Quaid reflected on their marriage, stating, ‘Meg is really such a great, sweet person, and really talented, and deserved all of her success.’ He added, ‘I don’t regret anything about my marriage to Meg.’ Quaid emphasized the positive outcome of their relationship through their son, saying, ‘We got Jack Quaid out of it, who is really going on to maybe I think eclipse both of us.’
