dailyloe.com – A Delaware ticket holder won the $231 million Powerball jackpot on Monday, April 6, 2026. The winning numbers were 7, 24, 37, 42, 57, and Powerball 5. The Power Play multiplier for the draw was 2x.

The jackpot had a cash value of approximately $105 million. A separate $2 million winning ticket was also sold in Texas. The next drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, April 8.

The upcoming jackpot will reset to an estimated $20 million. Drawings occur three times weekly on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. They are held at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time.

Ticket sales in states like Michigan close at 9:45 p.m. on draw nights. Playing Powerball costs $2 per ticket. An optional Power Play feature costs an extra $1.

The Power Play multiplies non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, 5, or 10 times. The 10x multiplier is only available for jackpots at or below $150 million. The multiplier is selected randomly before each drawing.

Prizes range from the jackpot for matching all numbers to $4 for matching just the Powerball. Matching five white balls without the Powerball wins $1 million. The largest Michigan win was $842.4 million in January 2024.[]
