dailyloe.com – The Golden State Warriors will select 11th in the upcoming NBA Draft after not receiving favorable results in the lottery. Despite hopes of climbing into the top four, they ended up maintaining their position. The team had a 90% chance of either staying at No. 11 or dropping to No. 12.

Washington, which tanked the 2025-26 season, will have the first pick. The Kings fell from the fifth-best odds to seventh, while the Clippers benefited from their midseason trade for Ivica Zubac, winning Indiana’s pick at No. 5. This year’s draft class is considered deep and loaded, featuring top prospects like AJ Dybantsa, Cameron Boozer, and Darryn Peterson.

Warriors General Manager Mike Dunleavy has a strong draft history and now faces an important decision. Adding a rookie ready to contribute immediately is one option to enhance the team’s roster. Alternatively, the Warriors might consider trading the pick with other assets for a proven star.

Among the prospects to consider is Ament, a highly regarded prep star with a mixed freshman year at Tennessee. Standing at 6-foot-10, he has not fully utilized his size defensively and has shown inconsistency in games. However, his potential is seen as high outside the top four.
