Eta made history in late 2023 as part of an interim coaching duo for Union’s men’s side. She also served as an assistant coach, becoming the first woman in such a role at a men’s Bundesliga club. Club executive Jennifer Zietz expressed confidence in Eta’s ability to lead the women’s team forward.
