dailyloe.com – President Donald Trump on Wednesday attacked the Supreme Court on Truth Social, singling out Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson as a ‘low IQ’ person. The post came ahead of a widely-anticipated court ruling on whether Trump can unilaterally deny citizenship to children born to parents without legal immigration status. Trump has a history of using the ‘low IQ’ insult against prominent Black individuals, including Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, Rep. Maxine Waters, and former Vice President Kamala Harris.
Writing on Truth Social, Trump claimed the three justices appointed by Democratic presidents — Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson — ‘stick together like glue.’ He accused them of ‘NEVER failing to wander from the warped and perverse policies, ideas, and cases put before them.’ Trump also said they ‘always’ vote ‘as a group or block.’
Trump specifically went after Jackson, the most recent member elevated to the high court, calling her ‘that new, Low IQ person, that somehow found her way to the bench.’ He then complained that the court’s GOP-appointees, three of whom he nominated, ‘don’t stick together’ because some render decisions at odds with his administration’s desires. He referenced the court’s recent decision to strike down his use of a Carter-era emergency powers law to impose import taxes on goods from nearly every U.S. trading partner.
‘The Republican Justices don’t stick together, they give the Democrats win after win, like a 159 Billion Dollar pile of cash on a completely ridiculous Tariff decision,’ Trump wrote. He added that the justices gave ‘nasty, one sided questions on the country destroying subject of Birthright Citizenship, something which virtually NO OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD IS STUPID ENOUGH TO ALLOW.’ Trump concluded, ‘No, certain ‘Republican’ Justices have just gone weak, stupid, and bad, completely violating what they ‘supposedly’ stood for.’
White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson defended Trump’s comments, stating that he shares his thoughts with the American people. She said Trump highlights the decisions of certain justices while pointing out deficiencies in others’ opinions. While Trump has used the ‘low IQ’ insult against critics of all racial backgrounds, including podcaster Tucker Carlson and actor Robert De Niro, he has most frequently used it against prominent Black individuals.
