Povich laughed at Reid’s suggestion that Democrats ‘play by the rules’. He disputed her claim they do not ‘play politics’ like Republicans.

Reid responded affirmatively to Povich’s hypothetical question. ‘I think they would,’ she stated regarding Democratic confirmation hearings.
Povich offered a blunt rebuttal to Reid’s prediction. ‘Not a chance,’ he responded during their exchange.
