dailyloe.com – Senior White House aide Stephen Miller warned the US conflict with Iran could continue indefinitely. He made the statement during an interview on Fox News. A permanent pact to end the hostilities remains elusive according to the discussion.

Miller spoke with host Sean Hannity on his eponymous show. He said President Donald Trump wants Iran to choose the right path. The goal is for Iran to make a deal to resolve the crisis.

Miller then outlined a prolonged timeline for the economic pressure campaign. He said the embargo is squeezing the economic life out of the Iranian regime. The United States has the capacity to continue this indefinitely if Iran chooses the wrong path.

President Trump offered a different perspective in a separate Fox Business interview. He told Maria Bartiromo that if they are smart it will end soon. This comment was made on Tuesday according to the source.

The US has blocked Iranian ports and shipping routes effectively. This action has stopped much of Iran’s sea trade. There is no literal embargo in place against the country.

American policy also warns or penalizes foreign banks and countries. These entities are targeted for handling Iranian money or buying its oil. The regime is being cut off from the global financial system.

Miller emphasized seeing the mission through to completion. He stated this is the most important thing right now. The aide provided no specific definition for mission completion.

He described Trump as a man of peace who wants a cessation to violence. The conflict has left more than 2,000 Iranians and 13 US service members dead. Miller reiterated Trump’s desire for a deal.

The President will not allow Iran to pursue or achieve nuclear weapons Miller said. Every option remains on the table according to the aide. Trump seeks a final safe secure outcome for the people of the world.

President Trump’s main justification for the war involves nuclear capabilities. He told Bartiromo Iran was gonna take out the Middle East. In the same interview he suggested Iran could target the US.

Iran possesses a significant stockpile of enriched uranium. This includes over 400 kg enriched to 60 percent. There is no conclusive evidence of an active current weaponization program.

A new poll shows Americans are overwhelmingly skeptical of the war. Just 24 percent say it has been worth the cost. This data presents a humiliating result for the Trump administration.

The war has angered many of Trump’s MAGA supporters. They voted for him partly due to his promise to end forever wars. The current conflict contradicts that earlier campaign pledge.

Economist and YouGov conducted polling before the conflict began. It indicated that 53 percent of Trump voters opposed US involvement in Iran. This pre-war sentiment highlights a political challenge.[]
