dailyloe.com – NFL free agent receiver Stefon Diggs has denied making a vulgar comment about his ex-girlfriend, rapper Cardi B. The 32-year-old All-Pro responded to an Instagram post claiming he said dating her was his worst decision. This response came after EntertainmentSA shared a screengrab that alleged Diggs criticized his personal life on Instagram.
The screengrab included a statement attributed to Diggs, saying, “The wrong decision I made recently… Falling in love with a whore with 3 kids. Brought bad luck to life, business, endorsements & partners. Stained my status.” However, Diggs’ Instagram Story did not display this post as of Thursday afternoon.
In his comment, Diggs stated, “lol I would never say no goofy ass s–t like this,” and added, “Nor would I speak on the mother of my kid like that, stop lying to the internet for clicks for your page disappear.” Diggs and Cardi welcomed their son last November.
Cardi B has three children with her estranged husband, rapper Offset: daughters Kulture, 7, and Blossom, 1, and a 4-year-old son, Wave. The ESA Instagram pinned Diggs’ reply at the top of the comments section.
Diggs and Cardi made their relationship Instagram official in June 2022 but reportedly split before the Super Bowl on February 8, 2026. Cardi attended the Super Bowl and participated in Bad Bunny’s halftime show.
After the Super Bowl, Cardi indicated she wasn’t “f—ing” with Diggs during her concert in Los Angeles on February 15. However, reunion rumors arose when Diggs attended Cardi’s Little Miss Drama Tour on April 8 with his family.
Diggs was released by the Patriots in March after one season, despite a three-year, $69 million contract signed in spring 2025. He recorded 85 catches for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns in 2025.
His release came amid legal issues, including charges of strangulation related to a pay dispute with his former chef. A police report revealed that a woman accused Diggs of slapping and choking her until she began blacking out on December 2 at his home in Dedham. Diggs has pleaded not guilty to the felony charge.
