dailyloe.com – Emily Blunt revealed that her brother-in-law Stanley Tucci called her ‘shameless’ on the set of The Devil Wears Prada 2. The actress spoke exclusively to E!’s Creator Cam host Erin Lim Rhodes at the movie’s New York City premiere. The sequel is set for release on May 1.

Tucci is married to Blunt’s sister Felicity Blunt. Emily introduced the actor to her sister after they costarred in the original 2006 movie together. Their real-life family bond created a unique dynamic on set.

Blunt said Tucci could not help but troll her during filming. ‘Whenever they would cut,’ she told E!, ‘Stan would be like, ‘You’re shameless. Shameless.” The 43-year-old actress said the playful callout was about ‘how much I was overacting.’

Blunt bemoaned that the pair do not share many scenes together in the final cut. ‘Stan and I were so angry that they didn’t give us more to do together,’ Emily quipped. ‘If we do another one, they better have us joined at the hip.’

The Oscar nominee admitted she had ‘way too much fun’ shooting the movie. The sequel also sees the return of original stars Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep. Blunt often broke character while sharing a scene with newcomer Justin Theroux.

Theroux plays Blunt’s onscreen boyfriend in the film. ‘They let us have a free reign to improv whatever we wanted,’ she joked. ‘Which was probably a terrible mistake, because we ruined endless tapes.’

‘A lot of the scenes were unusable because we were laughing so much,’ Blunt added. ‘He’s heaven.’ Her real-life husband John Krasinski was equally delighted to see her reprise her role as former Runway Magazine assistant Emily Charlton.

‘He’s thrilled,’ raved Blunt, who shares daughters Hazel, 11, and Violet, 9, with The Office alum. ‘My kids are thrilled. My kids’ friends are thrilled.’ She added of the movie, ‘It brings people together. It’s like a big old nostalgia bomb.’
