dailyloe.com – Jenna Elfman has recently joined the cast of Fox’s new show, The Interrogator. This role will not significantly alter her participation in ABC’s Shifting Gears. During the Fox Upfronts, she discussed how her new commitments will influence her portrayal of Eve Drake on the sitcom.
Elfman stated, “I can go play on Shifting Gears,” indicating her ability to juggle both roles. The Interrogator features Stephen Fry as an MI6 agent who uses his intellect and behavioral skills to engage with dangerous criminals.
Elfman suggested the idea of bringing her Shifting Gears co-star Tim Allen onto The Interrogator as a special guest. She mentioned, “[Having Tim Allen on] would be very entertaining,” and described the prospect of Stephen Fry interrogating Allen as appealing.
Her last appearance on Shifting Gears was in February, during the season 2 finale. In this episode, Eve invited Matt Parker, played by Tim Allen, to join her travels to Barcelona.
Michelle Nader, the showrunner, expressed her commitment to featuring more of Elfman’s character in future episodes. She affirmed, “I promise you there will be more Jenna Elfman [on the show] as long as I’m alive.” Nader praised Elfman’s presence both on and off screen.
