dailyloe.com – Coachella has released the official set times for its 2026 festival’s first weekend, revealing a surprise addition to the lineup. Former headliner Jack White will perform a surprise set on Saturday afternoon. He will open the Mojave Tent from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m.
White joins a recent tradition of surprise festival alumni slots. This follows appearances by Weezer and Ed Sheeran in 2025. Blink-182 and Arcade Fire also played surprise sets in 2023 and 2022.
Jack White last headlined Coachella as a solo artist in 2015. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last year. His band, The White Stripes, performed at the festival in 2003.
The 2026 headliners are Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G. They will perform on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday respectively. The festival is currently sold out.
Sabrina Carpenter has the earliest headlining slot of the three. Her performance is scheduled from 9:05 to 10:35 p.m. on Friday. She will be followed by electronic artist Anyma at midnight.
Anyma is debuting a new production called “Æden” on the main stage. Radiohead is also presenting an exclusive film experience. Their “Kid A Mnesia” show will run in the Bunker venue.
The Radiohead experience features 75 minutes of archival material. It includes sketches, paintings, and audio recordings. This offers a unique non-musical attraction for festival attendees.
Jack White’s surprise booking follows his recent ‘Saturday Night Live’ appearance. He was the musical guest with host Jack Black. This adds to the anticipation for his Coachella return.[]
