dailyloe.com – Isa Briones, known for her role as Dr. Trinity Santos in The Pitt, addressed fans disturbing her Broadway performance.
Briones is currently starring in the musical Just in Time in New York. She expressed frustration over audience members shouting references to her television show while she performed.
On Instagram, Briones stated, “Once again, Broadway is not a circus. Do not yell whatever you want at the performers.” She specifically mentioned a shout about finishing charts as disrespectful.
Briones emphasized that yelling disrupts both the performers and fellow audience members. She urged fans to remember they are sharing a space while watching art.
Briones made her Broadway debut in 2024 as Eurydice in Hadestown. In April, she began her role as Connie Francis in Just in Time, a jukebox musical focused on Bobby Darin.
The Pitt has gained immense popularity since its 2025 premiere, significantly impacting the careers of its young cast members. The show features actors portraying residents at a fictional trauma center.
Co-star Patrick Ball, who plays Dr. Frank Langdon, noted that fans often wait outside the stage door with gifts. He remarked on the unique connection between the cast and their audience.
Since January, The Pitt has dominated Nielsen’s streaming charts, with over 1 billion minutes viewed weekly. The show’s second season is anticipated to shine at the Emmys in September.
The first season received 13 Emmy nominations and won five awards, including best drama series. A third season of The Pitt is currently in development.
