dailyloe.com – The 12th Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals will be held this Sunday at Augusta National Golf Club. Eighty junior golfers will compete across four age divisions. The event will be televised live on Golf Channel.
Participants aged 7 to 15 qualified through three stages at ten regional sites. This year’s field includes competitors from 34 U.S. states and Ontario, Canada. More than 850 children have reached the finals since the event began in 2014.
Twelve competitors are returning to Augusta National, double last year’s number. Among them is Kipp Madison, the 2024 Boys 12-13 champion from Augusta, Georgia. He is joined by three other past national champions: Texas Terry, Karis Reid, and Dawson Dial.
Dawson Dial, who won the Boys 10-11 title in 2025, expressed excitement about returning. He stated that having the experience again is great. He looks forward to a great time regardless of the outcome.
Last year, two of the eight age-group winners were returning finalists. This suggests prior experience at Augusta can be beneficial. However, for most competitors, this Sunday will be a completely new experience.
For many, this event represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Hallie Fisch of Suamico, Wisconsin, qualified for the Girls 12-13 finals on her fourth attempt. The finals precede the 90th Masters Tournament, which begins later in the week.[]
