dailyloe.com – Disney Cruise Line announced the cancellation of the Disney Adventure cruise on May 7, 2026, due to a technical issue. The ship was scheduled to depart from its homeport in Singapore. Guests had boarded the vessel and spent one night onboard before being informed of the cancellation.

Disney stated, “We are truly sorry to let you know that we are unable to proceed with your Disney Adventure experience from May 7-11, 2026, as planned.” The company expressed understanding of the disappointment faced by guests.

While no specific reason was given for the cancellation, Disney emphasized that the safety and comfort of passengers is a top priority. According to the statement, every decision was made with guests in mind.

Passengers will receive a full refund of the cruise fare and any unused services, including internet and beverage packages. Additionally, Disney is offering a 50 percent discount on future cruises and a complimentary one-night stay at the JW Marriott Singapore South Beach.

Disney also stated it would cover potential flight change fees and up to $500 per stateroom for other incidentals. To assist guests, free Wi-Fi access was provided to help make new travel arrangements.

A transportation service from the cruise terminal to the designated hotel was arranged for the affected guests. Disney concluded with, “We offer our heartfelt apologies for this unexpected situation and thank you for your patience, understanding and cooperation.”

The Disney Adventure, delivered in late 2025, entered service in March 2026 and is the company’s first ship in Asia. Originally ordered for Dream Cruises, it is currently the largest ship in the Disney fleet, weighing 208,000 tons.
