dailyloe.com – A Powerball player in Delaware has won a $231 million jackpot from the drawing on Monday, April 6. The winning ticket matched all five numbers and the Powerball. No winner has come forward to claim the prize yet.

The lucky winner can choose between annuity payments or a lump sum of $104.9 million. The jackpot has now reset to $20 million for the next draw. This marks the third Powerball jackpot win of the year 2026.

The winning numbers for the April 6 draw were 7, 24, 37, 42, 57, and the Powerball was 5. The Power Play multiplier for that draw was 2x. A player in Texas won a $2 million prize by matching five numbers with the Power Play.

According to Powerball, the first 2026 jackpot was a $209.3 million win in North Carolina on January 21. The second was a $250.8 million prize won in Arkansas on March 2. The game is currently available in 45 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Historical data shows Indiana, Missouri, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin have produced the most Powerball jackpot winners. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are approximately 1 in 292.2 million. The next drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, April 8.[]
