dailyloe.com – Arsenio Hall revealed a haunting conversation with O.J. Simpson on Wednesday. The former late-night host shared the story on The Joe Rogan Experience. He said Simpson made a shocking confession shortly before the murders.
Hall said he ran into Simpson in a club one night. Simpson was hanging out with members of New Edition. They all got drunk together at the club.
Nicole Brown Simpson and a woman named Faye Resnick then approached. Hall realized O.J. was going to places to find her. Brown exchanged a few words with Simpson before walking away.
Hall said Simpson said something that blew him away. They talked about Nicole Brown Simpson. Simpson told Hall, ‘I still love her. I’ve tried to give her up, and I can’t.’
Not too much later, she was dead. Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Lyle Goldman were found stabbed. They were discovered at her Brentwood home.
Hall later recalled watching the infamous police chase on TV. He saw the freeway chase with the Bronco during a basketball game. Hall said he wished he still had his late-night show then.
He said, ‘I wanted a monologue tomorrow.’ Hall could not believe he did not have a show that night. He wanted to talk to the nation that night.
The Arsenio Hall Show ran from January 3, 1989, to May 27, 1994. This was the only time Hall really missed having his show. Most of the time you just go to the store, he said.
