dailyloe.com – Angel Reese, now with the Atlanta Dream, returned to Chicago for a shootaround at Wintrust Arena. She had no negative feelings about being back in the venue where she played her first two professional seasons.
Reese stated, “Coming back to a familiar place feels great. I have a home here still.” She expressed happiness in returning to Chicago, where she accomplished many great things.
Reese acknowledged the awkwardness of being in the visitors locker room but remained grateful for her experiences in Chicago. She is excited to start her new journey with the Dream.
During the workout, the Dream wore black T-shirts featuring star guard Rhyne Howard’s face to celebrate her birthday. The team concluded practice by singing ‘Happy Birthday’ in both traditional and Stevie Wonder styles.
