The match kicks off at 4:30 p.m. PT and is designated as the club’s Indigenous Peoples Celebration Match, supported by BMO. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the festivities. The celebration includes a limited edition Indigenous Peoples Celebration scarf for sale. A special edition bandana will be given away to fans. A pre-match clinic will feature Whitecaps FC alum Terry Felix. More than 100 youth will participate on the pitch.
Youth participants come from the Musqueam Nation, Tsleil-Waututh Nation, Squamish Nation, and Tsartlip First Nation. The Fan Zone on Terry Fox Plaza opens at 3:00 p.m. PT. Performances will include the Proud Little Warriors drum group and hoop dancer Jane Wylie. The Proud Little Warriors will also give a pre-match performance.
Members from the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations will lead the teams onto the field. Public gates open at 3:30 p.m. PT. The suite entrance opens earlier at 3:00 p.m. PT. New turnstiles are in use at Gates C, E, and G.
The ticket office is now located at Gate B. The Beer Garden on Terry Fox Plaza opens at 2:00 p.m. PT. The Fan Zone features player Ralph Priso at an autograph station. Games like ‘Score on Yohei Takaoka’ will be presented by Tim Hortons.
The RE/MAX Kids Korner offers airbrush tattoos and a Measure Up wall. It also provides a ‘my first match’ certificate and crafts and colouring activities. Whitecaps FC prizes and merchandise will be available for sale. A Half-Season Plan for 10+ matches starts from $305.
