Scattered showers and storms are expected to develop early Monday morning. Rain chances in San Antonio will be near forty percent at seven a.m. Chances will increase slightly by the mid- to late morning. Rainfall is not expected to be consistent throughout the entire day.
San Antonio will likely see off-and-on periods of moderate rainfall. The risk of severe thunderstorms with large hail is quite low. Many storms will still produce thunder and lightning. They may also bring occasional heavy downpours.
The most widespread rainfall is expected from mid-afternoon through evening. This is especially true between three and nine p.m. During this time, San Antonio rain chances will likely reach sixty to eighty percent. Rainfall could last for hours at a time. It will likely affect the Texas Cavaliers River Parade starting at seven p.m.
Temperatures on Monday will be very cool for the season. Morning low temperatures in the mid-fifties are expected. They will rise only into the low sixties by the afternoon. This is about twenty degrees below average for this time of year.
