Monds announced his decision to join the Fighting Irish during a live appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ on ESPN. He chose Notre Dame over offers from Florida State and Ohio State. The announcement took place during a ceremony at Vero Beach High School.
This fall, Monds will begin his third year as the starting quarterback at Vero Beach High School. Initially regarded as one of the top passers in the Class of 2028, he has since reclassified into the 2027 recruiting cycle.
