dailyloe.com – Apple is set to reveal iOS 27 during its WWDC 2026 keynote on June 8. The first developer beta is expected to be available right after the keynote. A public beta usually follows in July, with a full release planned for September.
Rumored features for iOS 27 include a new dedicated Siri app that will function similarly to chatbots. Users will reportedly interact with Siri through text and voice modes, and access past conversations.
The app will also introduce a new Siri interface in the Dynamic Island. When activated, it will show a “Search or Ask” prompt along with a “glowing cursor.” Personalized Siri features from 2024 are also anticipated to be included.
iOS 27 will reportedly support 5G satellite internet connectivity, likely limited to iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Ultra models. Additional satellite features may include Apple Maps via satellite and photos support for Messages.
Third-party apps will reportedly gain the ability to integrate Apple’s satellite features. iPhone users may connect to a satellite without needing to point their device toward the sky.
Amazon plans to acquire Globalstar, the satellite company supporting Apple’s features on iPhone 14 and newer models.
