dailyloe.com – Popular AI assistant Grok said on Monday that Bitcoin’s price would have been noticeably lower without MicroStrategy Inc.’s purchases. The analysis came after venture capitalist Jason Calacanis asked about Bitcoin’s price without Michael Saylor’s firm. Grok declined to provide an exact figure for the hypothetical scenario. It stated the price would likely be $10,000 to $20,000 lower based on analyses.

Grok cited MicroStrategy’s more than $61 billion in Bitcoin purchases as a key factor. The firm now holds 815,061 BTC, representing about 4% of the supply. Without this consistent buying pressure, the current price would be lower. The AI’s analysis was posted on the social media platform X on April 20, 2026.

The AI stated MicroStrategy has been the dominant corporate buyer in 2026. It noted others pulled back by 99% during this period. Grok said the firm’s steady demand created real upward pressure. It also highlighted the narrative of institutional adoption as a sentiment tailwind.

When asked to focus on the last four months, Grok provided similar analysis. It said MicroStrategy acquired about 142,000 BTC for roughly $11 billion from December 2025 to April 2026. The firm remained the dominant corporate buyer in this window. Grok noted big weekly flows occurred while others stepped back sharply.

Grok’s analysis follows MicroStrategy’s latest Bitcoin acquisition. The purchase brought its total holdings to 815,061 BTC. The total cost for this position is approximately $61.56 billion. The average cost basis per Bitcoin is $75,527.

With Bitcoin trading around $75,000, MicroStrategy’s position is roughly at breakeven. This recent purchase was the company’s third-largest on record. It also marked the biggest weekly acquisition since November 2025. The data underscores the scale of the firm’s ongoing accumulation strategy.
