The imaging revealed five loose fragments of bone or cartilage in his right elbow. Díaz, 32, mentioned that he has dealt with loose bodies in his elbow since being drafted.
He described his arm feeling “tired and tight” before the surgery, which he referred to as a “best-case scenario.” This positive outlook suggests that he is ready to focus on his rehabilitation.
