dailyloe.com – Artificial intelligence infrastructure stocks are in high demand, positioning Cerebras for a significant IPO in 2026. The company specializes in chips designed for running AI models after training. Cerebras is expected to raise $4.8 billion by increasing its target share price range to $150-160 from $115-125.

The IPO is scheduled for pricing late Wednesday, with trading expected to begin Thursday. At the new price range, Cerebras would have a valuation of nearly $50 billion, up from $33.6 billion when it filed its IPO paperwork in March.

Brian Colello, a senior equity analyst at Morningstar, noted, “It’s remarkable that the business was valued at $8 billion in October.” This increase can be attributed to significant deals with OpenAI and Amazon Web Services.

Cerebras is strategically positioned in the current AI boom, as major labs like OpenAI and Anthropic are competing for the necessary hardware to develop AI technologies. This competition has led to substantial stock rallies in AI hardware companies.

For instance, SanDisk (SNDK) has seen its shares rise nearly 4,000% over the past year. Additionally, the Morningstar US Semiconductors Index has increased by 124% in the last 12 months and over 400% in three years, fueled by AI demand.

Despite the promising outlook, the Cerebras IPO carries certain risks. The company faces stiff competition from major tech players, particularly Nvidia. Furthermore, there are concerns regarding the sustainability of relationships with key clients like OpenAI.

The interest in the Cerebras IPO coincides with anticipations for other major IPOs, including those of SpaceX and OpenAI. These upcoming listings are expected to raise a combined total of $135 billion.
