dailyloe.com – Anyma debuted his new audiovisual project ÆDEN on Coachella’s main stage in Indio, California. The Italian-American DJ and producer will perform again next Friday. This marks the start of a major world tour concluding in Paris this December.
Before the show, he released a single called ‘Bad Angel’ with global superstar Lisa. The track arrived this past Wednesday. It has already been streamed over six million times on Spotify and YouTube.
A music video accompanied the song’s release. In it, Lisa wears a white bodysuit and long ashen hair. She transforms into an alter ego named Beatrix, part human, part angel, and part android.
The video exists in a space between classical antiquity and futuristic dystopia. Anyma says the world of ÆDEN reconciles a ‘digital afterlife’ concept. It involves human-uploaded and artificial intelligences finding coexistence.
Lisa expressed her enthusiasm for the project in an interview. ‘When you first showed me the visual of this character, I loved it,’ Lisa said. She felt the concept and song were already perfect and on point.
Fans are now clamoring for a live performance of ‘Bad Angel’. Anyma appreciates the integration of music, visuals, and performance. He described Lisa’s work as a crafted Gesamtkunstwerk.
‘It’s not just music, what you do; it’s music, visuals, and performance at the highest level,’ Anyma told Lisa. He said everything is crafted to perfection and requires dedication and focus.
The pair discussed their first meetings at Coachella and in Ibiza. They also talked about the connections between their creative paths. A graphic T-shirt helped inspire the ‘Bad Angel’ collaboration.[]
